Nzadi (Indzéé)

Nzadi is a Bantu language spoken by a few thousand people along the Kasai River in the southwest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In particular it is spoken in the territories of Bagata and Idiofa in Kwilu Province, and in the terrritory of Ilebo in Kasai Province.

The native name for the Nzadi language is Indzéé, which comes from the word ndzéé (river). The people who speak it call themselves Ondzéé (singular) and Andzéé (plural). It is written with the Latin alphabet.
