The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 1-9)

Ichilamba (Lamba)

  1. Popele aŵamucalo capansi ŵonse ŵali ŵamulaka umo nekulaŵila kumo.
  2. Popele apo lomba, pakulukwenda kumutulesuŵa, ŵalibwene iŵesa mucalo caSina; naŵo ŵaliikele kopele uko.
  3. Popele ŵalukuŵulansyanya ati: Twendeni, ŋgatuwumbe incelwa, tukasioce. Naŵo ŵali nencelwa pamupunda wamabwe, nematipa amafuta nao pamupunda wasyamende.
  4. Kaŵili ŵalilaŵile ati: Twendeni, tuliiŵacile umusi nenanda itali makosa, iyakuficilila lukoso kwiulu, popele tukalicitile impupo isikulu: twikesa kupalaŋganisiwa pamenso pacalo conse.
  5. Popele apo ŵaYawe ŵaliselucile ati mbone umu si nenande'tali, iyi ŵalukwiŵaka aŵana ŵaŵantunsi.
  6. Popele ŵaYawe ati: Ŵoneni, aŵa ŵantu ŵamo, kaŵili ŵonse ŵali nemulaka umo; popele efifi ŵalukutatika ukucita: popele ŵukumo tapali-po icintu icakukaniwa kuli ŵo ici ŵalukulandicila ati tukacita.
  7. Twendeni, tuseluke pansi, tufuluŋganye apo umulaka waŵo, ŵekalukumfwansyanya ukulaŵila kwaŵo aŵene naŵene.
  8. Popele apo ŵaYawe ŵaliwapataŋgenye ponse ponse pamenso pacalo conse ukuŵafumyo'ko: naŵo ŵalicilekele ukwiŵako'musi uyo.
  9. Pakuti pali fyefyo isina lyauo lyaliilicilwe ati niBabeli; pakuti apo peŋka ŵaYawe ŵalifuluŋgenye umulaka waŵamucalo ŵonse: kaŵili ukuŵafumyo'ko ŵaYawe ŵaliŵapalaŋgenye ponse ponse pamenso pacalo conse.
