The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 1-9)
Benga
- Je yĕhĕpi e diyakite etomba yâkâ n‘ ukalo umbâkâ.
- E diyakindi, o bâ-ba tamwakidi o mbuhwa, ka bâ-ba duwa unhanjiboka o ehe ya Shainar; ka bâ-ba diya omĕ.
- Ka bâ-ba kala upâkwĕ n‘ upâkwĕ, na, Okani, ho hanemi brik, na hwĕ-hwa tumba beâ bwamu. Brik be diyakindi mabâdâ o bâ-ba jadi.
- Ka bâ-ba vâ, na, Okani, ho long-kiyeni hwĕ mĕtĕ mboka enĕnĕ, na elongo ya hâkâ ’aju e didi e kâbâkidĕ oba, na hwĕ-bwa ha hwĕ dina, o banga hwa vanjangana o ibati ja he yĕhĕpi.
- Ka Jĕhova a huba ka yĕnĕ mboka tĕ enĕnĕ, na elongo yĕ ya bana ba bato e longakidi.
- Ka Jĕhova a vâ, na Umbwaki-yate, bato ba te umbâkâ, na bâ bĕhĕpi ba te ’tomba yâkâ; na ekae ndi eabu e yalidĕ o ha; o ’bĕ na elombo e ka himbidĕ bâ nyang‘ ’abu e vahakĕ o ha.
- Okani, ho hubakeni ka jukĕ ukalo muabu, ovanĕ nd‘ o bâ-ba ka mĕndĕ bâ yokane pĕ ukalo.
- Ka Jĕhova a vanjanganĕ bâ oviya omĕ, o boho bwa he bwĕhĕpi; ka bâ-ba dika ilonga ja mboka tĕ enĕnĕ.
- Ovanĕ nd‘ o dina jaju i tubakwĕ, na, Bebal; ikabojana omĕ nd‘ o Jĕhova a jukakidĕ ukalo mua he yĕhĕpi: ka oviya omĕ Jĕhova a vanjanganĕ bâ o boho bwa he bwĕ-hĕpi.
