Names of the countries of North America in local languages
The geographical region of North America extends from Canada to
Panama, and also includes Greenland and the islands in the Caribbean.
However some definitions of North America consist of Canada, the USA and
most of Mexico up to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, while the region to
the south is known as Central America, and the Caribbean is a
separate region. Geographically Greenland is part of North America,
but politically it's a self-governing part of Denmark.
