The Tower of Babel (Chhòng-sè-kì / Genesis 11: 1-9)

Bă-biĕk-ták

  1. Dŏng-sì tiĕng-â nè̤ng kēu-ĭng siŏh-iông, uâ-ngṳ̄ siŏng-dùng.
  2. Iù dĕ̤ng biĕng buăng kó̤ sì-hâiu, gáu Sê-nā dê-huŏng, ngê̤ṳ diŏh bàng dê, cêu lŏ̤h hŭ-uái dêu.
  3. Gáuk-nè̤ng siŏng ngiê-lâung gōng: "Diŏh cà̤ lì có̤ ciŏng, sāi huōi siĕu hō̤." Ŏ̤h ciŏng-uâng, ô ciŏng, dáung có̤ siŏh, bô ô siŏh-iù, dáung có̤ huŏi.
  4. Bô gōng ā: "Diŏh cà̤ lì kī siàng gâe̤ng ták, ták dīng diŏh gèng gáu tiĕng, sāi nguāi miàng diòng chók, miēng-dék nguāi-nè̤ng sáng kó̤ dê lā̤ gáuk-ché̤ṳ."
  5. Ià-huò-huà gáung-lìng, ó̤i káng sié-găng nè̤ng sū kī gì siàng, gâe̤ng ták.
  6. Ià-huò-huà cêu gōng: "Cé̤ṳng-nè̤ng có̤ siŏh-iông gì, báh-sáng uâ-ngṳ̄ iâ siŏng-dùng, dăng kī-chiū ciŏng-uâng có̤ lāu. Gáu ī-hâiu, ĭ sū ó̤i có̤ gì, mò̤ siŏh iông â̤ géng-cī dék ĭ.
  7. Ngō̤-că̤ diŏh gáung-lìng, biéng luâng ĭ-gáuk-nè̤ng gì kēu-ĭng, sāi ĭ uâ-ngṳ̄ mâ̤ siŏng tŭng."
  8. Ŏ̤h ciŏng-uâng, Ià-huò-huà cêu sāi ĭ iù hŭ-uái sáng kó̤ dê lā̤ gáuk-ché̤ṳ, kī siàng gì dâi cêu sák kó̤.
  9. Ĭng Ià-huò-huà biéng luâng cé̤ṳng báh-sáng gì kēu-ĭng, sāi ĭ iù hŭ-uái sáng kó̤ dê lā̤ gáuk-ché̤ṳ, gó-chṳ̄ ciā siàng miàng giéu Bă-biĕk.
