Ngaʼka (Mungaʼka)

Ngaʼka is a member of the Eastern Grasslands branch of the Southern Bantoid language family. It is spoken by about 50,000 people in Bali Nyonga, a town in the southwest of the Nortwest Region of Cameroon.

Ngaʼka is also known as Ngaaka, Mungaka, Bali-Nyonga, Mungaʼka or Bali. Dialects include Bali (Ti), Bali (Li) and Bandeng (Nde). It is written with the Latin alphabet.

Notes

Ngaʼka has tones, although tone marking appears to be optional when writing. There may be more than one spelling system for Ngaʼka.
