Ndoola (laˊ ndòòlaˋ)

Ndoola is spoken by about 63,000 people mainly in Nigeria and also in Cameroon. It is possibly a member of the Mambiloid branch of the Benue-Congo language family. It is spoken particularly in Kurmi, Bali, Gashaka, Donga and Sardauna LGAs in Taraba State in southeastern Nigera, and in the Mayo Baleo subdivision of the Faro-et-Déo department in the west of the Adamawa Region, and in the Donga-Mantung department in the Northwest Region of Cameroon.

Ndoola is also known as Ndola, Ndoro, Ndooro, or Nundoro. Ndoola speakers call their language laˊ ndòòlaˋ or ndòòlaˋ. It is known as Njoyame or Njoyamɛ in Cameroon.
