Weh (Kɨ́wí)

Weh is a member of the Grassfields branch of the Southern Bantoid language family. It is spoken by about 8,000 people in North West Region of Cameroon. In particular, it is spoken in the town of Weh in the commune of Wum, a district in the south of the Menchum department in the north of the North West Region.

Weh is also known as We or Wê, and Weh speakers call their language Kɨ́wí. It can be written with the Latin script, and there is a translation of the Bible in Weh.
