The Diné Arabíłígíí alphabet is a way to write Navajo with the Perso-Arabic script devised by Yusuf Abdullah al-Qasri. It is made primarily for religious and literary purposes, as well as to accommodate those accustomed to other languages using the Perso-Arabic script. It features letters from Arabic, Persian, Pashto, and Brahui.

Not only has the Diné Arabíłígíí script been adapted to accommodate the language's tonal nature, it also uses the shadda to mark a long vowel. So when two vowels are in the high tone, like "áá" for example, it will be written as one letter, "آّ". However, if the double vowel is in the rising tone, they will be written as seperate letters, "اآ". The same goes for the falling tone, only that the first letter will have the tone marker.
