Afitti is a member of the Eastern Sudanic branch of the Nilo-Saharan language family. It is spoken by about 4,000 people mainly in Kundukur, Shakaro, and Kitrah on the east side of Jebel el-Dair in the south of North Kordofan province in central Sudan.
Afitti is also known as Dinik, Ditti or Unietti. There are two dialects: Afitti and Ditti. It is closely related to Nyimang, which is spoken to the west of Jebel el-Dai in South Korodfan province.
