Here’s a clue: this language belongs to the Philippine language family, but isn’t spoken in the Philippines.

The mystery language in last week’s language quiz was Maliseet-Passamaquoddy, an Eastern Algonquian language spoken in New Brunswik in Canada and Maine in the USA.
