The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 1-9)

וַהֲוָה כָּל אַרְעָא, לִישָׁן חַד, וּמַמְלַל, חַד.
וַהֲוָה, בְּמִטַּלְהוֹן בְּקַדְמֵיתָא; וְאַשְׁכַּחוּ בִּקְעֲתָא בְּאַרְעָא דְּבָבֶל, וִיתִיבוּ תַּמָּן.
וַאֲמַרוּ גְּבַר לְחַבְרֵיהּ, הַבוּ נִרְמֵי לִבְנִין, וְנוֹקֵידִנּוּן, בְּנוּרָא; וַהֲוָת לְהוֹן לְבֵינְתָא, לְאַבְנָא, וְחֵימָרָא, הֲוָה לְהוֹן לִשְׁיָע.
וַאֲמַרוּ הַבוּ נִבְנֵי לַנָא קַרְתָּא, וּמִגְדְּלָא וְרֵישֵׁיהּ מָטֵי עַד צֵית שְׁמַיָּא, וְנַעֲבֵיד לַנָא, שׁוֹם: דִּלְמָא נִתְבַּדַּר, עַל אַפֵּי כָּל אַרְעָא.
וְאִתְגְּלִי יְיָ, לְאִתְפְּרָעָא עַל עוֹבָד קַרְתָּא וּמִגְדְּלָא, דִּבְנוֹ, בְּנֵי אֲנָשָׁא.
וַאֲמַר יְיָ, הָא עַמָּא חַד וְלִישָׁן חַד לְכֻלְּהוֹן, וְדֵין, דְּשָׁרִיאוּ לְמֶעֱבַד; וּכְעַן לָא יִתְמְנַע מִנְּהוֹן, כֹּל דְּחַשִּׁיבוּ לְמֶעֱבַד.
הַבוּ, נִתְגְּלֵי, וּנְבַלְבֵּיל תַּמָּן, לִישָׁנְהוֹן--דְּלָא יִשְׁמְעוּן, אֲנָשׁ לִישָׁן חַבְרֵיהּ.
וּבַדַּר יְיָ יָתְהוֹן מִתַּמָּן, עַל אַפֵּי כָּל אַרְעָא; וְאִתְמְנַעוּ, מִלְּמִבְנֵי קַרְתָּא.
עַל כֵּין קְרָא שְׁמַהּ, בָּבֶל, אֲרֵי תַּמָּן בַּלְבֵּיל יְיָ, לִישָׁן כָּל אַרְעָא; וּמִתַּמָּן בַּדַּרִנּוּן יְיָ, עַל אַפֵּי כָּל אַרְעָא.

Wahăwā kāl 'ar`ā, līšān ḥað, ūmamlal, ḥað.
Wahăwā, bmiṭṭalhōn bqaðmētā; w'aškaḥū biq`ăθā b'ar`ā dvāvel, wīθīvū tammān.
Wa'ămarū gvar lḥavrēh, havū nirmē livnīn, wnōqēðinnūn, bnūrā; wahăwāθ lhūn lvēnθā, wḥēmārā, hăwā lhōn lišyā`.
Wa'ămarū havū nivnē lanā qartā, ūmiğdlā wrēšēh maṭē `að ṣēθ šmayyā, wna`ăvēð lanā, šūm: dilmā niθbadar, `al 'apē kāl 'ar`ā.
W'iθglī yyā, l'iθprā`ā `āl `ūvāð qartā ūmiğdlā, divnū, bnē 'ănāšā.
Wa'ămar yyā, hā `ammā ḥað wlīšān ḥað lxullhōn, wðēn, dšārī'ū lme`ĕvað; ūx`ān lā yiθmna` minnhon, kol dḥaššīvū lme`ĕvað.
Havū, niθglē, ūnvalbēl tammān, līšānhōn - - dlā yišm`ūn, 'ănāš līšān ḥavrēh.
Ūvadar yyā yāθhōn mitammān, `al 'apē kāl 'ar`ā; w'iθmna`ū, millmivnē qartā.
'Al kēn qrā šmah, Bāvel, 'ărē tammān balbēl yyā, līšān kāl 'ar`ă; ūmitammān badarinnūn yyā, `al 'apē kāl 'ar`ā.
