The Valagata script was invented by Jakub Cieślak to write a constructed language by the same name. It is made up of simple geometrical shapes that are easy to learn, and look similar to Korean Hangeul, although the letters are written one after another rather than in syllabic blocks. Jakub initially intended to make an alternative script for Polish, but realised that it would not work well with all the consonant clusters.
