Mutya

Mutya, or Mutyang Baybayin, was designed by E.M. Rentoria as an alternative way to write Filipino. It is a calligraphic version of the Baybayin script for ornamental use. It also has influences from the Thai and Lanna scripts.

Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines

Each consonant has an inherent vowel which is changed or muted with vowel marks
There are several styles of Mutya: Chailai Mutya, Lakandiwa Mutya and Mutyang Payak

Transliteration

Ang lahat ng tao'y isinilang na malaya at pantay-pantay sa karangalan at mga karapatan. Sila'y pinagkalooban ng katwiran at budhi at dapat magpalagayan ang isa't isa sa diwa ng pagkakapatiran.

Translation
