The Maldivian Arabic is a way to write Maldivian (Dhivehi) with the Arabic script devised by Mohamed Naaif from the Maldives, who made it for the people seeking to learn Arabic through Dhivehi. The Arabic language was a part of the Maldives until the mid 1900s, and he developed this script to revive the religious tradition of the Maldives, and to help people to learn Arabic faster.
