It's such a pity that that site is horrifically designed. A 5 MB page is just guaranteed to turn people off!

I don't know what the problem is. I have rarely seen such perfectly made websites.

The individual pages are beautiful, but after waiting for the third time for one to load I said, "Fuck it!" and left. And I've got a T1 line.

Am I to assume it is the fault of your American impatience?

Mine downloads like 40-50 kbps. That's quite fast.

I really don't care what you ascribe it to. Graphics are all well and good, but they should exist to improve the presentation of information, not to impede it. If all I want is a sequence of pretty pretty pictures, I'll go look on Flickr.

My evaluation of most types of media pretty much ends after the special effects and graphics. Make a movie with lots of those and I couldn't care less what the story is.

I had no problem with loading times (about 30 seconds max) but I imagine a lot of people with slower internet wouldn't appreciate it - like in Poland.

I think Poles have faster connections then we do.

But wait, are you talking about loading of the videos or the screen? Because I download videos (on YouTube for example) on average the same speed it is playing. The screen on the websites takes only about 5-10 seconds to load.
