I am currently brushing up my French, particularly my spelling, and learning Russian.

I really want to learn Hungarian(Magyar) at some point 'cos I have been to Budapest and it is a wonderful city, plus it looks like a really fun language!

I will be in Kazan' this summer and I would like to learn Tatar if possible.

Finally, I would like to learn Danish or one of the 3 Scandinavian Germanic tongues. I.e. Swedish, Norwegian or Danish.
Native: English (US)
Fluent: Français
Learning: русский язык
Hope to learn: Magyar, Tatar

Conlang projects: Aħkvm, upcoming unnamed project.

I am now studying Ukrainian. I read some Russian everyday because I have a Russian e-mail address. I'm interested in Luxembourgian because I once visited that country and have pleasant memories of being there.

Realistically I'm aiming for Persian, Hebrew, and German. I have some experience with German and Hebrew but to various reasons I never went past beginner level. I've just started with Persian and I think there are good chances that I'll continue with Hebrew and German as well.

In an ideal world I would also learn:

- Akkadian
- Albanian
- Ancient Greek
- Armenian
- Georgian
- Fluency in Swiss or Western Austrian German
- Dutch
- Uzbek
- Hindi
- Pashto
- Welsh or Gaelic
- Syriac
- Lithuanain
- Latvain
- Some Salishan or Wakashan lang, or Haida
- One of the Pamiri langs would be cool too

Out of all these only Georgian, Uzbek, and Armenian are feasible in the distant future. The rest should go to the Languages you'd like to learn... thread.
