Sanskrit Translations

Postby Calixtus » Mon 01 Jun 2015 11:59 am

Hi, I am hoping if it is possible to know the translation in Sanskrit for "Passage Across the Sky" and "Brown City"? And is it true that Rajput means "King's Son" in Sanskrit? Finally, is it spelt Sanatana Dharma, the "Eternal Religion"?

Making a guess again, I guess it's true since Rajput sounds like and abbreviation of "Raja Putra" while "raja" means "king" and "putra" means "son".

Thanks for the reply, but what about my other translation questions? Someone told me Passage Across the Sky is "Akash Marg", also called "The Sky Route". Is this correct?

"Akash" does sound similar to "Angkasa" which means "Sky". Don't know about "Marg", though.
