Hi, I'm trying to translate "there can be only one" from English to Old Norse (I guess technically, Old West Norse). Someone else suggested "þar get aðeins verit einn" but she said she wasn't 100% sure, and she first translated it into Danish, then into Old Norse.

I read that statements of existence of the sort 'there is...', 'there are...' place the subject or topic first, with no blank pronoun or adverb as in Modern English, and that þar is an adverb that translates into "there, in that place" (locative), so I'm not sure if it correctly used there...

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!
