In Esconshan, the letters are supposed to resemble the word they depict but that's not always the case. Here are some words that look like what they mean
표= Temple (pyo)

Here is an example using the the negative "ha":
차ᄈ 표 하샫살. I do not like temples. (Chabb pyo ha'syattsar.)

"Sar" reminds me of Japanese "suru".
