Mori Atas

Mori Atas is a member of the Celebic branch of the Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken by about 14,000 people along the Laa River in the southeast of Sulawesi island in Indonesia, particularly in the Lembo, Mori Atas and Petasia sub-districts of Central Sulawesi province, and in the Nuha sub-district of South Sulawesi province.

Mori Atas is also known as Upper Mori, West Mori, Aikoa, Berg-Tomori or Boven-Mori. Dialects include Impo, Molio'a, Molongkuni, Ulu'uwoi and Tambee. It is closely related to Mori Bawah and Padoe.
