Our Secret Garden

Our Secret Garden is a flower-based script created by Rodrigo Witzel for use in hand-written letters. Its design is dedicated to gardening and friendliness, and it can be used for any language written with the Latin alphabet.

Notable features

Type of writing system: alphabet.
Direction of writing: left to right in horizontal lines
Used to write: any language written with the Latin alphabet
The letters resemble the (rotated) shape of their Latin counterpart.
All letters of a word are arranged in a plant-like structure. Parts of long words can be joined via graft symbols.
Graft symbols are also used for special marks within words, such as apostrophes and hyphens.
Animals like birds and bees are used for quotation marks.
Numbers are distinguished from words via a fruit at the top of the plant.
Financial symbols and other symbols are considered abbreviations and not friendly. Thus they have to be avoided or spelled in full, like percentage instead of %.
Bugs next to the letters help to graph the huge range of Latin-script letters, like á, æ.
Friendly symbols are used to refer to the reader of the text.
