Methwendii s a constructed script developed by Angga Perdana beginning in 2014 and revised through several iterations until its current form, last updated in early 2026. It was originally created for his first conlang, Savlandic — a project that was later abandoned — and was subsequently adapted for his more developed conlang, Lwendic. Methwendi was inspired by other constructed scripts such as Ayeri and Tolkien's Tengwar, as well as real-world scripts including Javanese, Balinese and Georgian.
In-universe, the name Methwendi comes from a pangram poem written in Middle Lwendic titled “Methwendhi”, meaning “Like the Swan.” It became the standard ordering of the letters in the script (me the dhe … and so on), similar in function to Javanese hanacaraka and Japanese iroha.
The counting system is base-12. Since there is no symbol for "0", numerals take diacritics to indicate their positional notation.
The script has semi-featural elements: labials are marked by a half-circle theme shape, fricatives by a U-like shape, velar-glottals by a backward C-like shape, nasals by a short stroke, and voiced consonants usually contain a tall stroke.

'Like the swan'
Like the swan, upon the river of fate, be steadfast yet remain humble,
in the valley and the heights, amid the ripples of life.
