Do you know or can you guess the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?

Certainly sounds like something from Indonesia. This music in the background sort of helped my guess!
Maybe next time choose an example where the moderator doesn’t actually say the language name. ๐
@ Hank. Haha, same here ๐ Unfortunately, I know too little about Indonesian languages to be any more specific.
Yes, Daniel, sounds like the name of the language is uttered at least twice, and it is spoken in Indonesia …
Now that I think of it I know i heard the word “Bassa” or “Bahasa” but I didn’t catch the name after it.
Yes, it sounds Indonesian, or similar to my ears.
I reckon it is Rejang, spoken in South Sumatra, Indonesia.
Very good Emanuel! I think I understand that the person speaking says Baso Jang or Baso Hejang several times.
Thanks, David, but I was just following Daniel Krausse’s hint!
Indonesian bahasa
I can’t figure it out. He mentions bahasa Rejang, but it seems too close to Indonesian to be thatโthat language is from a different branch. Gotta be a Sumatran language that’s one of the Malay-type group.
Well, maybe Simon has set a little trap this time … ๐
The language is Rejang (Baso Hejang), a North Borneo language spoken in Sumatra in Indonesia.
