The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 1-9)

Gwotyɔ̌n Babilɔn

  1. E jeng yane, hâ lêm bemât jey mwa há sè hining zɔng.
  2. Jeng de bemat o ba kyě gwɔsɔ e rwa rak, ko yɛn a wɔ̀ sɛ̀ byel hwak e vwêl Babilɔnya, yɛn a sangal e hwomo.
  3. Ko yɛn a ha na bemɛn, ba ye, “Vey in, na wot yong bagat bwos, wot ráng vɛ naka.” Yɛn a ra fwom na bagat bwos e tô beta, na kwolta e tô bwos.
  4. Ko yɛn a ye, “Tik na wot a lɔk a bato mot repomo, na wot a lɔk gwotyɔ̌n gwolwis de gwô wɔ wul larwak! Ano de wot e bin sɛ̀ reza. Lɔ́k hemo hê wuna hot, yaga na wot kwon shara hot kpɛɛ e jey mwa wɛt.”
  5. Dagwi Darwey a gyirik, na a di repomo mo tanga gwotyɔ̌n gwolwis de bemat o ba ga lɔk.
  6. Ko a ye, “Hàa! Yɛn a sé regyɛng bemat vining, mwa hɛn lem mɛn hining. Ko di, yerê pyɛ de ba pɛrɛ yɛ! E ngamo nuyel, vit a pyɛ de yɛn e simo ra de yê dal ɛn!
  7. Tik na wot gyirik, wot suk balem mɛn, yaga na yɛn a bin dun pyɛ de bê ha e tē mɛn.”
  8. Ano de Dagwi Darwey a shara hɛn kagwa e neyɛnɛ̂ jêy mwa, ko fwôm lɔk o gwa tumal.
  9. Yaga ano, ba yila kwɔn o, à Babilɔn, yaga e hwomo de Dagwi Darwey a suk balêm mwâ bemat. Yi e hwomo kwong de a shara hɛn kagwa e neyɛnɛ̂ jêy mwa.
