Acheron, or Asheron, is a member of the Talodi branch of the Niger-Congo language family spoken in Saraf Aj-Jaamous area to the east of the Moro Hills in Southern Kordofan state (Janub Kurdufan) in central Sudan. There are about 20,000 speakers.
There are two dialects of Acheron: Eastern and Western.
