The other day I heard about a couple of interesting short films that use Joycean language and that I thought you might enjoy. They recount the adventures of a character called Morgan M Morgansen in a fantasy Victorian/Edwardian world.

Morgan & Destiny’s Eleventeeth Date – The Zeppelin Zoo
What is the M. for? Morgan?
When I saw your description of ‘Joycean’ language it kinda put me off. I’ve never been a fan of Joyce’s writing style, personally I find it a bit self-indulgent and people do tend to pretentiously name-drop Joyce a lot in an ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ kinda way. But listening to the film’s curious English narration I imagine this is how current day English would probably sound like to our none too distant forefathers, familiar yet also baffling? That’s of course if they happened to have a time machine?
This was completely trippy on a multitude of levels. Love it.
I am going to call waiters foodpenguins for the rest of my life.
That is…endlessly amusing 😀
Thanks for posting it.
