I thought I heard the Swahili word ‘bwana’ which means master or sir/ lord. It can then be Bantu, Swahili, the official language in several African countries and also the lingua franca of Middle East Africa. But I’m not sure…

It is not Bantu.Investigating something else I have come to the conclusion that it is Chadic. specifically Lele.
The language is Lele, an East Chadic language spoken in the southwest of Chad.
