It is definitely an language from India. The sounds as well as the inflection of the voice make me think so. Which one, however is the mystery.
Yes, definitely from India, perhaps Indo-Aryan because I think I hear postponed -me and -ki (or -ke). Christian content? Can’t say more than that …
I also agree that it is a language from India-perhaps Nepal, Pakistan or Bangla Desh, or at least it seems so; although I don’t know which of them.
The answer is Maithili (मैथिली / মৈথিলী), an Eastern Bihari language spoken mainly in the northeast of India, and also in southern Nepal. The recording comes from YouTube:
