It sounds like Kaqkchikel (or is it KaKQchikel?) spoken in Guatemala. But didn’t we have that language before?
The answer is Bribri (se’ie), a Chibchan language spoken in Coast Rica. The recording comes from YouTube: After posting the quiz, I realised that Bribri had come up in a quiz four years ago, This is a different recording though.
Sounds like a combination of something Slavic, Bantu and Caucasian! ANYBODY’S guess!
Here’s a clue – this language is influenced by Spanish.
Is it Basque?
Then it’s Native American – not Quechua or Nahuatl nor I think Maya. That leaves how many more?
Another clue – this language is spoken in Central America.
