This mysterious writing was found by a visitor to Omniglot on a large pumpkin in a pumpkin patch in Michigan.

Can anyone make any sense of the writing?

A visitor to Omniglot sent me the following photos today asking if anybody can decipher the writing on it, knows the significance of the numbers, or can provide any other details about this metal plate.

A visitor to Omniglot recently bought an antique cabinet with some writing on it and would like to know what it means. Here’s a photo of the writing:

The script is Arabic but I don’t know what it says. Can any of you help?

Do any of you know what the symbol below is?

The person who sent it in thinks it’s Sanskrit, but I can’t find any Sanskrit letters that look like this.
