This feels very Horn of Africa to me, more like an Ethiosemitic language than something like Somali. There are many Ethiopians where I live, and this doesn’t sound exactly like Amharic from what I’ve heard, but definitely close, something like Tigrinya or Tigre??
Sounds related to Maasai or Kalenjin to me so it’s likely one of the smaller Nilotic languages from Northern Kenyan or South Sudan but not sure which one.
I’m torn between Horn of Africa and something West Chadic, like Hausa adjacent. I’m tentatively going to go with one of the small Middle Belt Nigeria languages.

I have to agree with Arjun. There is something in the voice that sounds like it’s from Africa and hot Bantu, has a certain “Arabic-ness” to it.
I agree with Arjun and Hank – Afro-Asiatic, East Africa, perhaps something related to Tigre and Tigrinya, or maybe to Oromo.

It’s a Cushitic language, if that’s of any help to someone.
The mystery language is Daasanach (Af Daasanach), a Lowland East Cushitic language spoken in Ethiopia, Kenya and South Sudan.
