I must be missing something as I don’t think I have ever seen anything like Simon’s clues. How do I find that?
You can find clues on the Omniglot News on Radio Omniglot.
I’m thinking maybe Filipino.
Based on Simon’s location clue and the presence of /ŋ/, I’m guessing O’odham.
The mystery language is Yaqui (Yoem Noki), an Uto-Aztecan language spoken in Sonora and Sinaloa in Mexico & in Arizona in the USA.
