One of the language families that are found on both sides of the border between Columbia and Brazil is Tucanoan. Our mistery language of the week seems to have some similarities to Barasano.
The language is Kakwa or Cacua, a Nadahup language, or language isolate, spoken in Vaupés in Colombia and Amazonas in Brazil.
