Can you identify the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?

Awesome, another Mayan language! This clip has lots more Spanish in there. But the words “nim-a” (“big”) and “winaq” (“person”) give it away as Mayan. Can’t say for sure which language, but I’m guessing from the Kichean branch – let’s just guess one. Sakapultek?
The language is Mocho’ / Mototzintleco (qatô:k), a Mayan language spoken in Chiapas in Mexico.
Argh, not as close as I’d hoped! But at least it was indeed Mayan.
Seeing how the language is spoken only by those who are (more) proficient in Spanish, that explains a lot about the remarkably high use of Spanish words in non-nativized forms.

The recording comes from the GRN.
