Language quiz 11 September 2016 By Simon Here’s a recording in a mystery language. Can you identify the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?
Poetically something from West Africa. But I’m not very familiar with those languages. My guess is: Fon.

Sounds pretty much like it is a Kwa language, but I couldn’t say which one.
I agree, probably West Africa, but I don’t hear terraced tones, which should narrow it down a bit.
The language is Wudu, a Gbe language spoken in parts of Togo.
The recording comes from the GRN.
