Language quiz 10 July 2016 By Simon Here’s a recording in a mystery language. Can you identify the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?
It sounds like an Atlantic-Congo language spoken in West Africa. Maybe Dioula/Dyula or related to it.
Wikipedia says “To English speakers not familiar with it, the English basis of this language is almost unrecognizable.” and I agree fully.

Saramaccan (Saamáka), an English-Portuguese Creole spoken in Suriname and French Guiana.
