    To give a further hint: the “tangata whenua” call the others “pakeha”. They are also known as “Kiwis”.

  4. Kiwi is a nickname for the people of New Zealand, that us Australians use all the time! I’m going to say Auckland and the languages spoken there are English and Maori.

  5. It is indeed Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand, and that is the Sky Tower, the highest tower in the Southern Hemisphere, in the background.

    Languages spoken in Auckland include English, Maori, Samoan, Tongan, Niuean, Hindi, Mandarin and Cantonese. Samoan is in fact the second most commonly spoken language there after English, according to this site.
