It’s a southern Finnic language called Estonian. One of my favorite languages.
I’m also going with Estonian, due to the clear differences in vowel length.
I don’t know whether it is Estonian or not but I would’ve thought the choice of Estonian for this week’s quiz would’ve been too easy especially since there are a few Omniglot regulars who post here that if not speak the language have a broad knowledge on the subject. So could it be an Estonian dialect?
Finnish is my first language, so I know it’s not Finnish 😉 Sounds like Estonian.
