Do you know or can you guess the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?

” I.A. or “A.I. ? “
It sounds to me like something having to do with Corona in a language that’s closely related to Indonesian, but I can’t tell which one yet. (I’m not sure why, but I think it’s a language spoken in Indonesia rather than Malaysia, Brunei, or Singapore). I heard “terus wa.”
A shot in the dark. Either something spoken in Indonesia or the Philippines. I THINK I hear sound or two that sounds “Philippinish”.
I think it sounds like a language in Southeast Asia (Malay Peninsula to be exact)!
If it’s ‘Philippinish’, why does it sound so French?
I say “Philippinish” primarily because of the timbre of the voice That said, I live in Canada and am used to several French accents but other than a few words that could be a creole version of a French word I don’t think it is French at all. I have been known to be wrong, however!Lol
I think any resemblance to French is largely a coincidence (there may be an acronym, and the letter names may ultimately come from French via Dutch for all I know, but other than that, I don’t hear any French at all). I think it’s from either Indonesia or Malaysia (and I’m still leaning towards Indonesia). I doubt it’s from Thailand.
Well, I was completely wrong when I said it was closely related to Indonesian; Teochew (though not this variety of it – in fact, I wonder how much of it they would understand) is my next-door neighbors’ native language! It was spoken in Indonesia, though.

The language is Pontianak Teochew / Kalimantan Teochow, a variety of Teochow Chinese spoken in Kalimantan in Indonesia.
The recording comes from YouTube:
