Can you identify the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?

I am guessing it is an Australian indigenous language but for whatever reason I can’t say. I love the challenge of these quizzes despite my being wrong most of the time!
I think it’s a tonal African languge from Nigeria, Benin zone or so. A Niger-Congo one…more than a Kwa language, but of course it’s from West Africa.
Sorry , I would say from the Gulf of Africa and more exactly : Niger-Volta.
And ,of course ,Kwa languges are included in Niger-Congo.
Simon, please, excuse my English, I’m Spanish and my English is not very good.
Dear David, No need to apologize – your English is excellent!
David,
I would never have known that English is not your first language. I agree with Shenn. No apology needed!
Thankyou.
Some years ago I was in Wales for a week with a group of people from four countries. The matter was learning English, and with people of Prime Cymru.
The last night we were in the castell of Caerdith. A singer of a folk Welsh music group, reading my nametag said this to me :
Although you’re Spanish you’ve a very Welsh name…I was amazed…but I saw that David is Saint Patron of Wales and there is a word -reoli- in Welsh which is : rule in English , and regla in Spanish…
David,
¡Que mi español sea tan bueno que su inglés!
The answer is Sapo, a Western Kru language spoken in eastern Liberia.
