As you might have noticed, the Omniglot forum is not working at the moment. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it – nothing has changed, as far as I can tell, and all the files are still there, but it’s just not appearing.
I’m trying to find a way to get it back, and if you have any suggestions how to do this, please let me know.
Maybe I am completely off, but did you check if there is space available on the server hard disk drive?
I personally think it could be the Post your picture thread. I’m not sure but within 2 days of posting it the forum stopped working. The only reason I think it is that thread is because it’s the first one where more than one person has posted pictures.
Unilang seems to be down two…I’m going into language site withdrawal :(.
Maybe this is a polyglot hater’s idea of a good joke.
Conspiracy? Could be 🙁 I guess I’ll have to STUDY German instead of just talking about it.
Giovanni – I think it might be due to lack of space on the server. I’ll try removing some files and see what happens.
Surely a few pictures isn’t enough to bring down a whole forum? Unilang has had many a picture posted and it’s fine.
