Language quiz 24 January 2016 By Simon Here’s a recording in a mystery language. Can you identify the language, and do you know where it’s spoken?
The answer is Madà (JamamadÃ), an Arawan language spoken in Amazonas State in Brazil. The recording comes from the the GRN.
It sounds like Japanese, I would hazard a guess at an Okinawan language.
From what little I know, it almost sounds like some tonal native american language. Just a thought.
