Another very Tibetan sounding language. We had one from the Mustang region of Nepal only a few weeks ago. Maybe one of the Tibetan dialects native to and spoken in Sichuan or a nearby region of south-western China?? Reply
You’re on the right lines Lynnie – the answer is Kham (Kham-Hor / Khampa), a Tibetic language spoken in the Kham region of Tibet Autonomous Region, the western part of Sichuan, and the northwestern part of Yunnan in China, and also in Bhutan. The recording comes from the GRN. Reply
