  1. Yup, I found it too. I would never have guessed: I was convinced it sounded like something from western Eurasia.

  2. While my grandma was a full blood Cherokee, my dad lived on the Seminole reservation in Florida. Although he didn’t speak Cherokee, he was fluent in Seminole (Creek) another Muskogean language. Both Seminole and Koasati have similar cadences, Seminole has more plosives, and sounds a little harsher.I’m partial to Cherokee.
