Well, when I first heard this I immediately thought of something from southern Africa because of the seeming clicks but it certainly seems to be Asian with tones and a few sounds I associate with southeast Asia. This is a toughie! Something from the hill tribes of Burma?

It’s only a vague idea but is this language perhaps spoken in the Caucasus region?
Some clues – this language is spoken in China, and isn’t a tonal language.
O.k., it’s Northern Qiang (Sichuan, China).
Yes , Nortthern Qiqang, because Southern Q. is tonal.

The language is Northern Qiang (Rrmearr), a member of the Qiangic branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family spoken in Sichuan province in China.
