5 vowels, didn’t hear any NC clusters, didn’t hear any “special” things like clicks or ejectives…
it sounded like a passage of the bible.
I’m gonna “very tentatively” say Igbo, but I’ll need to hear it more…
I have no idea what the language is or where it is from, but I’m going to guess that is from Africa…..
It sounded like a sermon. I heard Christo several times, I think. I thought I heard some Latin-based words.
My guess:Berber (wild guess. shot in the dark)
Random guess….Hausa? It sounded tonal to me….
The answers is Kirundi, a Bantu language spoken mainly in Burundi.
I love the page about Kirundi: “4.5 speakers”.
Wow. Four and a half people speak it. Sounds awesome :-)
