  1. The text is in Tibetan, and although I can read and transcribe it, I can’t guess what it means.

  2. Par brgyag mi chog….

I suppose that since it looks like a road sign, I think it forbids something on the road. I think it’s a “No Parking” Sign.

  3. Podolsky’s right – it is Tibetan

Joseph – it’s not a “No Parking” sign or other road sign, but one you might see in a temple or museum.

I created the image and am not sure whether the shape and colours I used are the same as those used for such signs in Tibet – they just looked good to me.

  4. Yup, took me a while to find an online Tibetan dictionary, but it seems TJ’s right. for once I checked the blog before Simon had announced the winner, but c’est la vie.

  5. Hey, I knew it was Tibetan. Since it was solved, I didn’t get off the couch to get my phrasebook to look it up.

    Yrs. for the mi-rgod…

  6. Well, Simon, My message today there is anything about Tibetan language. As you don’t have any kind of subjet in the proposal subjet I would like to know about the construct language Tsulyani. I read this name in a web page, which I don’t know which, but it looks like Tsuyani is a language like Slovio, Folkspraak and Interlingua, a language to make easier the life of people who speak semitic languages as Arabic, Hebrew, Aramaic, Siriac, and maybe Ahmaric. Don’t you have more informations about this language. It looks like a man named M.A.R. Barker who is creating this language.
