Favourite words

This is a collection of words in various that appeal to me for the sound and/or meaning.

- šňůrka = string

- kerfuffle = a commotion or fuss
- purfle = to decorate the surface of a violin

- jäääär = the edge of the ice

e.g. Kuuuurijate töööö jäääärel = A moon researchers’ work-night at the edge of the ice

- õueaiaäär = the edge of the fence surrounding a yard

- schnalzlaut = (linguistic) click

- smugairle róin = jellyfish (lit. “seal snot”)
- sceallógaí = chips

- ee = to eat

- smoogh = a playful kiss
- smittag = a playful kiss / dark-looking girl

e.g. tha smùid orra = they’re drunk
