Recently efforts have been made to revive it, and it is now used to some extent by the Spiritual Council of Yezidis in Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>New language pages on Omniglot this week are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/somrai.htm\">Somrai<\/a> (bii g\u0259 chibne), an East Chadic language spoken in the southwest of Chad.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/arabic_chadian.htm\">Chadian Arabic<\/a> (\u062a\u0634\u0627\u062f\u064a\u0629), a variety of Arabic spoken mainly in Chad, and also in Nigeria, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Niger, Sudan and South Sudan.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/writing\/arabic_libyan.htm\">Libyan Arabic<\/a> (\u0644\u064a\u0628\u064a\u200e), a variety of Arabic mainly in Libya, and also in Egypt, Tunisia, the UAE and Niger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There\u2019s a also new numbers pages in each of these languages: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/language\/numbers\/somrai.htm\">Somrai<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/language\/numbers\/arabic_chadian.htm\">Chadian Arabic<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/language\/numbers\/arabic_libyan.htm\">Libyan Arabic<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/celtiadur\/\">Celtiadur<\/a> post this week is about words for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/celtiadur\/2021\/11\/03\/ditches-and-trenches\/\">Ditches and Trenches<\/a> in Celtic languages.<\/p>\n<p>This week on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/\">Omniglot blog<\/a> there\u2019s the usual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21618\">Language Quiz<\/a>, and a post called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omniglot.com\/bloggle\/?p=21604\">Pocket Hedgehogs<\/a>, which is about ways to say that someone is careful with their money in various languages &#8211; what\u2019s that got to do with hedgehogs?
